When you imagine the person you’ll one day marry, you don’t expect it to be someone you’ve known since you were seven years old. We grew up with our lives completely intertwined—attending the same schools, sharing the same friends, and living just streets apart. What we didn’t realize during those early years was how important we would eventually become to one another. Senior year, things began to shift, when Friday night lights and “scoring touchdowns” for Phoebe became a favorite weekly conversation starter, and late-night stops for F’real ice cream shakes turned into a regular occurrence. Our college years took us to different states as we pursued our passions, but we remained committed to our love story & to each other. Eventually, different paths led us both to the Twin Cities, bringing our long-distance chapter to an end. From moving in together, to buying our first home, to getting engaged in the heart of the city that now feels like our forever home, our relationship has been one of growth, love, and friendship. We've grown up together, and now, like Jesus said in his proposal, we're excited to grow old together.
