Cascades Trail
A Berkshire’s classic trail, this hike is perfect for beginner hikers or people looking for a quick but beautiful walk to a waterfall. Wander alongside a glistening river until you hear the sound of rushing water falling into a blue pool. Park at the North Adams Recreation Center and then walk over to the trailhead at the end of Marion Avenue!
Natural Bridge State Park
Did you know there is only one natural white marble arch in North America? You can find it at Natural Bridge State Park. In addition to the pristine stone geological wonder, a dazzling waterfall flows over the rocks formed in a natural bridge formation. There’s also an abandoned marble quarry and man-made marble dam nearby to explore on this hike as well.
Mount Greylock
Celebrated by Thoreau, Melville, and others, it's the highest point in Massachusetts at 3,489 feet. Accessible by hike or drive.
