We met outside a coffee and chocolate shop in Athens. We were both outside studying and continued to pass each other and smile a bit too much. After losing his ability to focus, Clayton came up and said, "you're being really distracting, would you like to get lunch and do that some more?". So without even giving each other our names we walked down the street to get lunch. Our poor waitress had to wait hours before she could get an order out of us (don't worry she got a nice tip).

I went on to work at the chocolate shop where we first met and both Clayton and I became good friends with all my co-workers and that shop became a special place for us. He surprised me on my 21st birthday by having my family fly in. Little did I know, the very next day he would gather our friends and family in front of that chocolate shop to ask me to be his wife. How could anyone say no to that!
