We are one of those 21st century couples that met on a dating app. Alan commented on one of my pictures and managed to pick out the coastline in the backround. It happened to be his favorite place that he goes to every year--Block Island, Rhode Island. After a week of texting back and forth, a girl from Lebanon NH, and a guy living in Albany N.Y. met for a first date in the small picturesque town of Wilmington VT, exactly halfway for both of us. Alan happened to be a nurse recruiter for Saint Peters hospital in Albany, and how ironic that he ended up snagging this RN from New Hampshire. The rest as they say is history! We got engaged in New Haven CT at a historic lighthouse on December 14, 2021 and Alan relocated to Lebanon NH a couple weeks later.
