We Eloped!

We decided to elope and had our ceremony on July 11th, 2024 in Markleeville, CA, with the Alpine County Courthouse. We knew we wanted to get married on our first date, and spent months after talking about the best way to do it. Despite our best laid plans, life never goes the way you think it will! In May, we decided to forgo the traditional wedding and elope. We made our vows on a dirt pathway, surrounded by trees and wildflowers. Tyler's mother, Liz, attended as our witness, and our dear friend Celinna took our photos. We spent our wedding night in a beautiful cabin at the nearby Desolation Hotel after celebrating with Tyler's parents and our friends.
