It was summer 2016 in Portland, Oregon. Frank Ocean’s Blonde had just dropped & it was on repeat for a 24 year old Philly who had just recently moved to the city. A high school friend (shoutout Shane!) traveled to visit Philly and suggested he meet another friend who had recently moved to Portland. They all decided to hang at Backstage Bar across the street from Philly’s apartment. Per usual, he was late to the hang. He walked in and saw that his buddy was standing next to this beautiful girl, and realized he had met her before. A little backstory, Phillip went to Aquinas high school in San Bernardino. Alexis went to Arrowhead Christian Academy in Redlands—they were rival high schools. When Phil was a freshman in high school he went to an away football game at ACA where one of his best friends who went to that school introduced him to Lexi. Phil was blown away by how pretty she was. For Lexi, it was just another Friday. At Backstage they immediately hit it off, so much so that after the “second” time they met, they spent almost every day for three months together. Since then they've built a beautiful life together. Making friends everywhere they go, going on countless adventures together, riding the emotional rollercoaster of being a Raider fan, and celebrating monumental moments in each others lives. From Portland to the 909 to Ventura, their love continues to grow. After almost 10 years together, three of those engaged, they’re finally tying the knot! WAHOOO!
