We’re getting married!!!

Brian and I met through our dear mutual friends Kelsey and Karley. Brian saw a photo that Kelsey posted of us three in New Orleans back in 2018 and he asked Kelsey, "Who's the hot blonde?" lol! Kelsey informed him I was unavailable, but Brian requested to follow me anyway. I accepted his request.. he was a mutual friend of my besties. Fast forward 2 years later, Brian saw I was single and slid into my DM's :) We talked on the phone for a few months as friends while we were both working on ourselves. Brian always stayed in touch, never letting more than a few months go by without reaching out. I ended up dating someone for a while, but Brian stayed persistent!!! He continued to message me off and on. Finally, in November of 2022, Brian messaged me again and asked if I was still dating someone. I informed him I was not! He asked me if I wanted to get together later that month during Thanksgiving break and my birthday so I agreed. Welp... I never heard from him. I was a little bummed, but we had never met and weren't talking consistently at the time so I didn't think much about it. Then the day after my birthday, he commented on a photo I posted on Instagram of me finding my first arrowhead. Not an, "I'm sorry I never touched base about our plans to hangout during the break!!" Just a comment about how "he's always wanted to find one." (insert eye roll) He then said, "Sorry we couldn't get together. I should be there around Christmas so maybe we an then." I reluctantly agreed. The following week, Brian messaged me to see if I knew who Ian Munsick was. I smiled so big and replied, "I do! He's one of my favorites." He invited me to a weekend getaway in Gruene to see Ian in concert with him and another couple and their kids on January 20th!! I was so excited and giddy. I agreed to go right away, then it hit me, I've never even met this man!! Haha. I asked him if we were going to go on an official date prior to the concert over 6 weeks away. LOL He laughed and FINALLY asked me on a date. On 12/11/2022 he picked me up and took me to dinner at The League. It was strange that I wasn't very nervous when we met. It was just easy to be with and talk to him. We were both kinda freaked out because of how comfortable we were with one another. I knew by the end of that night, he would be my forever. We have been together since that day and dove in head first with no regrets. We said "I love you" to each other on 12/28/22 and he told his parents he knew he had found the one. We are best friends. We have learned from one another, grown closer to the Lord and closer to each other. We are grateful for the life we are creating together and our love is unconditional. We are beyond excited to become one as husband and wife on 4/27/2024 and are thankful to each of you who will be there to celebrate our union.
