How We Met

We met the modern way—by both swiping right on Bumble—but it didn’t take long for something about Andrew’s profile to stand out. What really caught Jennifer’s attention was his note about not having any social media. In today’s world, that’s pretty rare, and she couldn’t help but be curious. That one line led her to start a conversation, and from the very beginning, the messages flowed effortlessly. We spent a week talking until we finally decided to meet in person. Our first date was at Little Woodrow’s off Parmer, a relaxed spot for drinks that turned out to be the perfect setting. The conversation picked up right where it left off online. Since that night, we’ve been inseparable.

Engagement Story

Andrew and Jennifer had been discussing getting engaged for a few months, and in February, they went ring shopping to find something meaningful to them. On the evening of February 28th, while having dinner at home, Andrew took out a ring box and asked Jennifer to marry him.

Elopement Story

While Andrew and Jennifer had been discussing getting engaged, they also spent time debating what kind of wedding felt right for them. They had decided to elope and plan a party later to celebrate with their family and friends. On March 14th—fittingly Pi Day—they decided to make it official in a simple, meaningful way by eloping at the courthouse. Afterward, they celebrated their marriage with an intimate dinner, marking the beginning of their new chapter together in a way that felt perfectly personal.
