It’s time to get excited! We’re getting married!

The surprise started with cute professional pictures on the beach. We were just about finishing up when Matthew let our photographer know that he had one last pose in mind. Meanwhile I was thinking of all the pictures I had sent him the past couple of months of cute poses and small hand gestures that I thought would make a cute picture for us. He had other plans. All morning he was hiding the box in his bag. He had been very gentlemanly and taken everything he thought I would want and put it in the bag for me, so I wouldn’t be able to accidentally ruin the surprise for myself. As he pulled the box out and got on his knee, I was so shocked and cried. Luckily I had my sunglasses on so my red eyes didn’t ruin the pictures! We were laughing and crying happy tears, and we had such an amazing rest of our vacation as a newly engaged couple.
