Walk along Broadway (between 1st Ave and 5th Ave downtown Nashville) and soak up fabulous music and people watching, while enjoying your favorite beverage.
Catch a Preds game if they're in town. The Nashville Predators are our professional hockey team, and we (Eli more than Steven) LOVE them! Hockey in "Smashville" as well call it is a completely different experience...one you have to see to believe.
Walk around Vanderbilt's beautiful campus to see where Steven spends a lot of his time, and Eli works (well wander over to the medical center for that).
One of Eli's favorite trendy mexican places
A popular breakfast place that Eli grew up going to with her family. Just know there will be a line! So go early (7 am ish) if you want. There are lots of fun shops near Pancake Pantry in what we call "Hillsboro Village." For more information on the neighborhood click http://nashvilleguru.com/neighborhoods/hillsboro-village
Another neighborhood of Nashville that is quite popular is The Gulch. There are lots of restaurants and shops (Lucchese boots and Urban Outfitters). The restaurants tend to be a little bit "trendier" and fancier than some of the ones found in Hillsboro Village or 12th South. OH and there are lots of those hallmark Nashville murals!!
The Opry tour is a cool piece of history for those country music lovers!
An amazing hotel to wander around and get lost in! Its even more beautiful at Christmas time, so you'll have to come back!
If the weather allows, you can check out the Cheekwood Estate and Gardens. Eli's mom does a lot of work there and the gardens are BEAUTIFUL!
