FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is dressy casual/cocktail attire. The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors (reception is in an open barn with no heat or AC), and we recommend wearing shoes appropriate for walking on grass and/or gravel with potentially uneven terrain.

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We're catering Mexican food! There will be a variety of tacos (including veggie) with corn or flour tortillas and plenty of toppings; beans & rice; and chips, salsa, and guacamole. Hopefully something for everybody!

Question

Will we be allowed to take our own photos and videos?

Answer

We are asking our guests to simply enjoy our ceremony and allow our photographer to capture our special day. We'd love to see you in our photos smiling instead of looking at your phones :) However, feel free to take all the photos and videos you'd like during the reception!

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

August 6th is our RSVP date, but we'd love to know even sooner if you are able! :)

Question

Can I bring a plus one or my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to capacity restrictions with our venue, we kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. We hope you understand!

Question

Will there be a time gap between the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

The reception area is a short walk away from the ceremony site, and will be open immediately following the ceremony. Starting off will be chips and guacamole, plus a variety of yard games for you to enjoy during cocktail hour before we start the meal.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

There will be signs directing you to a open field for parking, which is a short walk away from the ceremony site.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Due to the walk to the ceremony site, please arrive by 2:45pm in order to park and find a seat before we start the ceremony.

Question

What time zone is the venue in?

Answer

Central! (No time change for most of you.)
