Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome! We’re excited to have your little ones join us on our special day! There will be fun activities planned to keep them entertained, along with a beautiful park and plenty of outdoor space for them to play. That said, we kindly ask parents and guardians to ensure their children are supervised at all times. If a meltdown or distraction happens during the ceremony or reception, we ask that you feel free to step away and take a moment to calm them. Your understanding and cooperation will help us ensure the event remains enjoyable for all guests!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be a casual celebration with a vintage western boho theme, and we want everyone to feel at ease! Feel free to wear what makes you feel your best and is comfortable, but please keep in mind the following: Ladies: Pointy heels are not advised, as our ceremony will take place in a beautiful forest with potentially soft ground. Opt for flats, sandals, wider heels, or your favorite pair of cowboy boots (the bride will be rocking hers, and she'd love for you to join in the fun if you’d like!). Men: Jeans and a button down shirt are perfect – no tie necessary. Pearl snaps and cowboy hats are encouraged. Keep it stylish yet relaxed. The weather in Conifer can be a bit unpredictable in September, we are expecting highs during the day around 75°F and lows down to 40°F after dark, so we suggest bringing a layer for the evening, especially as temperatures drop.

Question

How do we get there?

Answer

We are in the process of finding transportation up and down the mountain for those that don't want to drive. We will post updates on the meeting place and shuttle times as soon as possible!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’ve decided to have an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and enjoy the moment with us. We kindly ask that you turn off your phones, cameras, and other devices during the ceremony so that our professional photographer can capture the memories without distractions. We’ll have plenty of opportunities for photos during the reception and after the ceremony, so feel free to take all the pictures you’d like at those times! Thank you for helping us create a truly special experience where everyone can be present in the moment!

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

Colorado is known for having 4 seasons in a day. Rest assured, if there is adverse weather, we will have a back up plan! An extra layer is never regretted in our great state.

Question

What is the best way to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 28th using our online RSVP form. You can access it via the homepage or RSVP tab at the top of the page.

Question

Where do we stay?

Answer

We’re working on securing a block of rooms for our out-of-state guests and will update this page with the details as soon as we have them. In the meantime, there are plenty of great options in the surrounding areas of Denver, Golden, Conifer, and Evergreen. These areas are all within 30 minutes of the venue and offer a variety of accommodations, including hotels, Airbnbs, VRBOs, and charming local inns. We recommend booking early to secure the best options, especially if you're planning to stay for a few days. More details will be provided once our room block is confirmed!
