We’re getting Married!

Thank God for modern technology and automatic subscription renewals! Without Match.com none of us would be here today! Phillip and I wouldn’t be getting married and you wouldn’t be reading our story. Our story is a fun one! I, being who I am, made the first move after we matched online. I liked every single one of Phillip’s pictures on his dating profile and sent him the cheesiest message. It went something like this “Hi. I hope you noticed that I liked every single one of your pictures” and the rest is history! The day we matched online Phillip had just landed in Puerto Rico for a three week work trip and he said “what a horrible time for us to match because we couldn’t actually meet for another 3 weeks. But that excited me. For 3 weeks we could talk and get to know one another and he not beg to take me out and I have to decline because I didn’t have a baby sitter. Those three weeks went by so slow, but we finally made a first date! To where you ask? CRAWFISH! Yes on our first date we went out to eat crawfish! From that day forward I knew he was THE ONE. Phillip on the other hand was a little more skeptical! We casually dated for a little bit but right before his anual guys trip we made it exclusive. I was not about to let the women of the Guadalupe River steal my man 🤪 Fast forward FOUR years and I was getting very antsy on getting engaged. I was soo ready for it, but little did I know that being patient would be the best surprise of my life! On our 4th dating anniversary Phillip and our Best friend, Haley, created the proposal of my dreams! We got engaged on a Friday and that next Monday we set a Wedding Date! We can’t wait for Our Big Day! And we can’t wait to celebrate and party with you all!
