If you're coming from LA, we highly recommend the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner as an alternative to driving. The ride from Union Station to Oceanside takes about two hours and offers stunning ocean views for much of the journey. It's also a great option for guests who aren't staying overnight and would prefer a safe, relaxing trip home after the celebration. Tickets start at $28 each way.
