We love all of our extended family, friends, and little ones. Unfortunately our venue has limited space, and while we wish we could accommodate everyone, we had to make the decision to keep the wedding limited to those friends and family who are 18+. We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we celebrate our special day!
Estes Park is a gorgeous mountain town located just outside of Rocky Mountain Notional Park. Estes Park is tucked in the mountains northwest of Denver. Denver International Airport is about 30 minutes outside the city of Denver. The total drive time from Denver International Airport to Estes Park can range between 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions that day. **We recommend either renting a car and coordinating with other attendees for maximum flexibility or hiring one of the available shuttle services to Estes Park from the airport (such as: https://estesparkshuttle.com/). For those using Estes Park Shuttle we have a 10% discount code: (Round trip code: JP2026RT One way code: JP20261W) The town of Estes Park also keeps a wonderful website for visitors with information on getting around and lodging: https://www.visitestespark.com/plan/
Please see those hotels we recommend in the travel tab. You are of course welcome to stay at any other hotel or lodge that you find!
No. The Landing has an extremely limited number of parking spaces that we need to reserve for immediate family and those with mobility restrictions. Please see the travel tab information about the Estes Park free shuttle service which has a stop just next to the venue. We will also have a shuttle service running to and from select hotels (listed under the travel section) - so for those that forget their wedding shoes and need to make a quick run back!
We are working on getting a shuttle service to select hotels in the area, so let us know where you plan on staying! If you are not staying in Estes or the shuttle service does not come to your hotel, we recommend planning in advance as the *venue does not have parking.* Please plan to coordinate with others staying at the same hotel - or rideshare apps such as Ubers are Lyfts are always an option. Either way, we encourage planning these in advance! The venue let us know that rideshare app rides are super limited in the evenings/nights at Estes Park, so you may want to schedule a ride ahead of time!
Please dress in formal attire and be sure to bring an extra layer in case the fall mountain air is a bit crisp!
Staying optimistic that the weather will be nice, the ceremony will be held outdoors, and the cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors! There will be outdoor access if you wish to get some extra mountain air - but please keep in mind that Estes has a noise ordinance after 10pm.
Please keep in mind that Colorado is a mile above sea level, which means that the elevation may get to you, no matter how active you are! To avoid potential altitude sickness, we recommend hydrating LOTS - drink plenty of water and electrolytes, give yourself time to acclimate to the elevation change, and take it easy on any hikes/walks. We also recommend wearing sunscreen and bringing sunglasses or other sun protection!
The weather can heavily vary - typically the days are sunny (60s-80s° F) and the nights get a bit chilly (50s-30s° F). Late September is prime time for changing aspen colors (which is the reason we chose this time of year for our wedding)! There is a slight chance for early snow, especially the further into the mountains you go - so bring layers, especially if you plan on going for a hike during your stay in Colorado!
Yes! The bar will be serving selections of beer, wine, and liquor. While we are covering the costs of the bar, we encourage treating the bartenders well for their hard work in cash tips!
While there is not really a "theme," we will be getting married in the beauty of Estes Park and its fall scenery. Please come with joy in your heart and energy to celebrate!
