Yes! We are grateful that so many of you will be celebrating with us in-person and we want to maintain a safe environment for you all. In adherence with New York laws and regulations, all guests, staff and vendors will be required to show proof they have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccination, as well as a photo ID. Foundry staff will be checking proof of vaccination and photo ID at the venue entry. Acceptable proof of vaccination includes a photo or hard copy of your vaccine card or the Excelsior Pass. If regulations change, we will notify all guests.
We love your kids—we really do! But we want our wedding to be your night off. If you need help securing a sitter, please let us know.
We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your formal invitation, which we anticipate sending two to three months before the wedding. If your invitation says "and guest" then go ahead, otherwise please just bring your beautiful self.
Black tie optional.
We recommend taking an Uber / Lyft directly from your hotel / apartment to the Foundry. Alternatively, you may also take the subway on the E train to Court Square-23 St Station or the 7 train to Queensboro Plaza. Both subway stations are also approximately a half mile away from the Foundry each - about 10 minutes walking. New York traffic and pubic transportation can be unpredictable - please allow enough potential time for train delays, traffic and/or walking
We have rooms held at both 1 Central Park Hotel and Hotel 48LEX. Both hotels are centrally located on the East side of Manhattan, and are approximately 15 to 20 minutes away from the venue (via cab/Uber). However, if you'd prefer to book outside of a hotel block, New York offers many, many options -- from well-known chains (like the Hilton) to boutique hotels (like The Wythe in Brooklyn).
Nope! If you RSVP via our online form under the "RSVP" tab, no need to send in a RSVP card via mail as well.
