Duncan is Phillip's twin brother, and is 18 minutes younger, something Phillip used to enjoy reminding him. They have been best friends since birth, and have always remained close despite living across the country from each other.

Tessa is Phillip's oldest friend. Her mom and Phillip's dad met in junior high and stayed friends for life so one could argue that Phillip and Tessa have been friends since birth. Tessa was the first person Phillip came out to, crushing all hopes that the two might end up together.
Steven Morrissey

Steven, or Stevie Mo, was Phillip's college roommate freshman year. They became best friends despite Stevie Mo's relentless wit and sass, and have stayed close ever since.
Elaine Shuster

Phillip and Elaine met freshman year of college. They both came to the east coast with a friendly "midwestern" demeanor, and bonded over that and the desire to clarify that Colorado was not in fact part of the midwest.
Kallie Hainline
Groomswoman
Kallie and Phillip both moved to Virginia in the spring/summer of 2018 to work at Sweet Briar. Kallie was Phillip's first friend in Virginia and quickly become one of his closest. Kallie and her wife Meredith were the first of Phillip's friends to meet Dylan, and after meeting often joked that if things had not worked out the three of them would still need to remain friends as they had so much fun together, with or without Phillip!
Evan Scheible

As Dylan’s twin, Evan has been by his side since before Day 1. Although total opposites throughout childhood and school, they shared overlapping friend groups and were often together - getting separated in class and competing for the title of class clown. Fun fact: Dylan is 16 minutes older than Evan but often acts like it’s 16 years older.
Nolan Scheible

Nolan is Dylan’s younger brother but that hasn’t stopped them from becoming best friends. You’ll often find the two arguing or fighting over something minuscule, but there for each other for anything and everything else. Fun fact: Nolan is also as plant-obsessed as Dylan and is currently getting his PhD in Plant Biology!
Lauren Tucker

Lauren and Dylan have been best friends since high school - through cafeteria food fights, flip cup championships and even matching tattoos. Lauren and Dylan are famous for weekend getaways and love to travel just because. They share a mutual love for Diet Coke and somethin’ sweet after most meals. After living together through most of the Covid pandemic and the friendship surviving, it’s safe to say these two will be best friends for life! Fun fact: One year for Christmas Lauren and Dylan both randomly bought each other the same gift, a popcorn maker!
Erica Watson

Erica and Dylan met in high school through Lauren and the three have been pretty much inseparable since. Erica is also a Hokie and the two spent an overlapping year at Virginia Tech, hiking the blue ridge mountains, attending numerous football games and becoming regulars at Hokie House. Erica also lived with Dylan through Covid, so just like Lauren (and now Phillip), she’s stuck with Dylan for life! Fun fact: The first time Dylan ever flew on a plane was with Erica and he made her hold his hand across the aisle through takeoff.
Amy Skolnick

Dylan and Amy have known one another since high school but didn’t become friends until their senior year in college. Quickly becoming best friends; Embarking on numerous trips together (including internationally), attending Virginia Tech football games and sharing a mutual love (almost obsession) with plants. They even have matching tattoos, but can’t tell you where unless you ask in person ;) Fun fact: Amy’s mom was Dylan’s 7th grade math teacher!
Micah Parr
Groomsman
Micah and Dylan have know each other since elementary school. Growing up, their neighborhoods backed up to each other and they would often go sledding and four wheeling at “the power lines”. Dylan and Micah went to the same schools all their lives; elementary, middle, and high school, followed by attending community college together and both transferring to Virginia Tech. Fun fact: Micah is Dylan’s longest running friend, they’ve been hanging for 20+ years.
Ian Brinkerhoff
Groomsman
Ian and Dylan became friends during high school through Dylan’s younger brother Nolan. Ian is another one of the regulars that Dylan likes to travel with. They also share a love of older, European sports cars (Audi, BMW, etc.) and can often be found sending each other cars and memes over Instagram. Fun fact: Ian grew up next door to Micah, so Dylan and Ian met several times before actually becoming friends.
