Our story began toward the end of 2020—when the world felt a little upside down, but somehow meeting each other just felt right. Since going out wasn’t really an option, Charlie planned our first date at home and cooked dinner for me. He made Lomo Saltado, and I still remember the moment I casually mentioned it was a Peruvian dish—he was impressed… and I was already falling a little. From the very beginning, everything between us felt easy. We bonded over our love for our dogs, our shared sense of humor, and how we could be completely ourselves—goofy, silly, and unfiltered. What started as something light and fun quickly turned into something so much more. Life had a funny way of bringing us closer, faster than we expected. Not long after we started dating, I moved in with Charlie, and in 2021 he bought his first home. Together, we turned that house into our home—filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of remodeling projects. Right in the middle of all the chaos (and probably a little dust), we found out we were expecting. And in 2022, we welcomed our beautiful son, starting the most incredible chapter of our lives. Our story, like many, isn’t perfect—but it’s real, it’s ours, and it’s full of love. Every challenge has helped us grow, both individually and together. We support each other’s dreams, push each other to be better, and never forget to laugh along the way. What started as a simple first date turned into a forever kind of love—and we can’t wait to keep building this life together, one laugh, one milestone, and one moment at a time.
