What if it rains?

Answer

The old Boy Scout rule: If everyone brings their raincoats, then it won't rain. However if it does, worry not! All activities to do with the wedding can take place indoors, that includes the ceremony if needed!

Shuttles! What's the deal with the shuttles?

Answer

We have two hotels: Residence Inn: Larger 52 Passenger bus Leaves from hotel to venue at 3:40 and 4:30 Leaves from venue to hotel at 10:00 and 11:00 (For those guests that plan to take the shuttle and are NOT staying at the hotel, we kindly ask that you make an attempt to take the earlier shuttle to allow the hotel guests to make their 3:00 check in with time to spare) Holiday Inn Express: Smaller 24 passenger bus Leaves from hotel to venue at 3:40 and 4:30 Leaves from venue to hotel at 10:00 and 11:00 The shuttles leave from both hotels. Guests from either hotel, or even guests that are not staying at the hotels are welcome to ride the shuttles either way.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please wear semi-formal attire. For this time of year in New York, we suggest that men wear suits or sports jacket and pants, and women wear dresses or suits. Florals are encouraged but not required.

Answer

While we love kids, we are looking to have a kid-free event.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5pm. Guests may arrive as early as 4pm, to enjoy a cash bar in the Oak Room at Old Daleys.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/reception?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy! We do encourage any photo taking you'd like during the reception!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at Old Daley on Crooked Lake. For guests staying at the hotel, there will be shuttles to and from the venue.

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by May 6th, so we can plan accordingly!

Will there be drinks?

Answer

Of course there will! The entire reception time will be open-bar. Prior to that while guests arrive, there will be a cash bar available from 4pm-5pm until the ceremony starts.

Will I be able to get an Uber home from the venue?

Answer

We have been advised that catching an Uber or ride-share from the venue can be challenging due to the location. We invite you to utilize the shuttle service from the hotels, and Uber to/from the hotels.
