Answer

The church doors will open at 2:30. Please arrive early enough that you can be seated comfortably before the ceremony begins at 3:00.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so grateful you’ll be celebrating with us! Due to venue capacity and our desire to keep the event more intimate, we’re only able to accommodate guests who were specifically listed under your name on the RSVP tab. We hope you understand and can’t wait to see you there!

Question

Suggested places to stay?

Answer

We have a discounted rate with the Music City Sheraton, as they are our reception venue! If you so choose, this will allow you the ease of having a room to go back to for cocktail hour, as well as having the smoothest walk to bed after the evening’s festivities! Click on the Hotel tab to book your stay!

Question

Is parking available at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is plenty of available parking at the ceremony and hotel.

Question

Question

For the ladies, the semi-formal dress code explained:

Answer

As this is a confusing dress code, here are a few helpful suggestions: 1. We are going for a dress that hits under the knee, but not to the floor. Typically called "tea length" or "midi dresses." 2. It will be in the summer, so have fun with color or pattern...just kindly avoid white or white with a pattern overlayed! 3. As well, for those who do not want to match the bridesmaids, they will be in shades of pink! However, if you would like to wear pink, go for it! 3. If that made things more confusing and need the visuals... Copy & Paste this link to see our full Pinterest board for more inspiration! https://pin.it/1mbJf9d0r

Question

For the gentlemen, the semi-formal dress code explained:

Answer

Think dress shirt and slacks! Suits/Ties are quite welcome, but not required. If you are considering a suit, but hesitant because of the hot August weather, we recommend linen to keep you cool!

Question

Answer

2:30 • Church Doors Open 3:00-4:00 • Ceremony 4:00-4:30 • Receiving Line 4:30 • Mocktail Hour -5:30 • Bridal Party Photos 5:30 • Doors Open to Reception -6:00 • Bride & Groom en route to Reception 6:00-9:00~ • Reception

Question

If the ceremony ends around 4, why is the reception not starting until around 6?

Answer

While we are fortunate to have 2 beautiful venues, there is about a 20 min drive in-between them. We are planning on doing a receiving line directly following the ceremony to say a quick hello to those in attendance! With this is mind, if the ceremony ends around 4, the quickest we expect for the first guests to arrive at the reception is 4:30. There, we will provide ample appetizers! We will also have entertainment in the form of music and a poet! Guests will be able to meander the hotel, go to their rooms and nap (if applicable), or get their personal poem written and chat amongst the guests. We will do our best to make sure everyone feels intentionally thought of. Thank you all so much for being wonderful!
