Flight
Athens will be the easiest airport for you to fly into. Below you'll find directions on how to get to the villa from there!
Travel Note
From Athens, there are two ways to access the island of Euboea: 1.) Drive (or taxi) north and cross the Euripus Bridge (New Bridge of Chalkida) over the strait of Evripos to access Euboea Island. This drive would take about 2.5 hours. 2.) Drive (or taxi) from ATH to the port of Agia Marina (38.180535, 24.059410) and take the ferry over to Nea Styra. The drive to Agia Marina is about 1 hour. The ferry costs ~5 euros per passenger and ~16 euros per car. You can take your rental car on the ferry. The ferry ride is about 45 minutes over to Euboea Island. Once you've landed in the town of Nea Styra, you can drive or taxi to your accommodation on the island. Please note that the last 2 kms of road to Villa Delenia are a dirt track. If you are planning to visit the villa during the week, be sure to rent a car with plenty of clearance (high SUV is okay, 4x4 not required). WEDDING DAY TRANSPORTATION: We will be hiring buses/vans to pick up guests before the ceremony and drop off after the reception. We will determine a few central locations on the island for pickup - stay tuned for more info!
House Or Rental
There are several small towns on Evia that are fairly close to the venue. These each have quite a few hotel and air bnb options. Nea Styra is the town where the ferry lets you off, and we will likely have a bus pick guests up here for transportation to the wedding venue. Here are a few recommended hotels in Nea Styra: - Venus Beach Hotel - Sunday Boutique hotel
