It all started when I met an awesome family -sister Julie -now my sister inlaw, the husband, Jeff and their beautiful kids at VeeVees Restaurant https://yelp.to/qTKq/BsNn3RkcuW in Chicago one beautiful Sunday. There was no discussion whatsoever other than the usual sunday stories. However, when I went home after the brunch, a good friend, Charles called and narrated a young lady I should reachout to in Nigeria; I said, “who is the lady” and he said, “the sister and husband lives here Chicago, and I would know them quite well. “Oh well that would be nice, but let me know how to get the lady’s info”, I said. Afterwards, we concluded our conversation and hung up the line. A few minutes later, Charles called again and said “did I just finished eating at Veevees with a family”. I said yes, and then goes on to explain that, that family I met is related to the young lady he spoke about. “Infact, that was Julie’s younger sister”. I said to myself “not only from a good family, she too must be someone that loves God” After thinking through the whole events later in the week and remembering my prayers for a partner that truely loves God. “The hands of God must be in this, as the cirmstances are a bit rare” I said. I looked her up on FB and then called her. We had a wonderful conversation first day; and we would call each other up almost every day. Realizing, I had truely fallen for her, I kept looking forward each day to hear her voice. Then I decided and to travelled to Nigeria to meet her in person. When we finally met, a few days later, I proposed and soon after that, we got married the traditional way. Couple of years later, her papers went through and she joined me in the USA. Living together, and learning each other was a process we both are maturing in. We focused squarely on each other; loving and building trust for one another. We sought to dedicate our union through a wedding celebration and here we are today. Thank you all God bless.
