Are you having a ceremony in Sylvania?
Answer
This September, we’ll be traveling to Silverthorne, Colorado with a small group of our immediate family for an intimate wedding ceremony and exchange of vows. While we’re so excited for that special moment, what we’re looking forward to even more is celebrating with all of you! We're looking forward to our larger celebration on October 25th, and hopefully seeing you there! We invite you to arrive by 5:00pm for the start of our “Cocktail Ceremony.” Grab a drink, mingle, and enjoy the surroundings before we gather on the patio for a relaxed vow renewal. You’ll be able to witness our short exchange of vows right where you’re standing—no rows of chairs or formality, just an easy, heartfelt moment together. From there, we’ll flow right back into cocktail hour and kick off an evening full of fun, laughter, and celebration with our favorite people—you!

Can I leave my car at Sylvania Country Club overnight?
Answer
Yes! Please be smart & leave your car if you’ve had too much to drink. We have a hotel block at the Wingate by Wyndham that is just a quick Uber/ Lyft from Sylvania CC.

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
While we love your children, this is an adult only reception. You can consider bringing them to the Welcome Party the night before. The Welcome Party will be at The Fifth Floor which is located just above Inside the Five Sylvania.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We would love for our wedding to feel like a truly special and elegant evening, so we encourage our guests to dress in formal attire. “Black-Tie Optional” means that while a tuxedo is not required, it is certainly welcome! For gentleman, a classic tuxedo is perfect, but a dark suit with a formal tie or bow tie is equally appropriate. For ladies, we recommend floor-length gowns, chic cocktail dresses, or other elegant attire that suits the occasion. We cannot wait to celebrate with you in style! When in doubt, it is always better to dress up - we love a sharp suit and stunning gown.

Are you having a welcome party?
Answer
Yes! We’d love for you to join us as we kick off the wedding weekend on Friday, October 24th. We’ll have light appetizers and a cash bar available for drinks. The celebration will take place at The Fifth Floor, directly above Inside the Five in Sylvania. Address: 5703 Main St, Sylvania, OH 43560 Parking is available in The Fifth Floor’s small lot, along the street, and in nearby public lots.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
We kindly ask that you arrive at the venue by 5:00 pm, the official start of our event. While we wont be having another full ceremony, we will be including an extension of our vow ceremony during the cocktail hour.

Is your event indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both! The cocktail hour will be held on the beautiful back patio of the Sylvania Country Club. Following that, guests will be invited upstairs for the dinner reception and dancing.

Are there any tips or directions for finding the venue?
Answer
The venue is located at 5201 Corey Road, Sylvania, OH 43560. To ensure you arrive at the main entrance and parking lot, please make sure to turn onto Corey Road. Sometimes, GPS directions may guide you to turn off Monroe Street near the plaza with UPS. This will lead you to the back of the building. If coming off US 23, continue just a little further past the plaza with UPS until you see the Corey Road sign—this is where the main entrance is located.
