After a miserable dating experience, my cousin Louise suggested I try a different dating site other than the ones I’ve been using. I was hesitant because at this point I was completely done. I eventually joined bumble and figured “well, why not.” On Bumble the woman has to make the first move. I ended up having a match so I messaged my match, (my fiancé) and I saw his location “Harrison”. I didn’t know where exactly that was so I made a remark such as, “I guess my type of men are in Harrison”. He replied back and I hadn’t checked my bumble for a while. I didn’t know since I was new to the site that if you don't respond in a certain time the chat expires. Well I didn’t go on it for some time because at this point I just was so disgusted in dating that I wasn’t avidly looking. Anyway, he sent me a message saying. “It was nice talking to you”, since he knew the chat would expire soon. I still to this day don’t know what made me reply back and not just assume he was the same as all the other people on these sites but I replied back and told him to text me so we can continue our conversation.
