COVID-19 Updates

UPDATE: Holy Spirit Catholic Church has created a hybrid indoor-outdoor celebration in response to Gov. Gavin Newsom's order last week prohibiting indoor church activities. Thanks for thinking of us right now and checking in. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. We wrote this FAQ page to answer some of your questions about our wedding, which is still on — but in Fresno. Thank you for your patience, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
Question

How can I watch the live-streamed ceremony?

Answer

Watch the live stream by following this link: https://vimeo.com/event/195995

Question

What's happening, now that indoor church activity is prohibited?

Answer

The church has created a hybrid indoor-outdoor ceremony. Guests will be seated outside the church in the pavilion and will be able to watch the ceremony happen in the narthex, which is the separated entryway to the church. We ask that local guests bring their own chairs — and any extra if they have some — so that we have enough chairs for others. The pavilion is cement and has large, shaded pagodas that provide relief from the sun. We will be doing everything we can to mitigate the heat even more, by providing fans and creating additional shade.

Question

Is the wedding still on?

Answer

Yes! We are getting married on August 1 in Fresno, California, the hometown of the bride. The church is Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the reception is at the bride's grandmother's home.

Question

Are we getting new invitations?

Answer

Yes, those went out Monday, June 29.

For all the days along the way
