Phil and Gemma met as freshman in high school after Phil joined the marching band and Gemma joined the color guard. Junior year of high school, Phil became the new drum major and Gemma became the captain of the color guard. Through their Junior and Senior years, they worked together and accepted awards side-by-side at marching band competitions. Reconnecting after Phil graduated from Lehigh, Gemma and Phil became good friends. Phil saw Gemma for the first time since graduating high school while she was working at Bottle King. Phil (finally) proposed to Gemma in September of 2019, two and a half years after they started dating, 1 year and 9 months after Gemma gave birth to their beautiful daughter, Penelope. Phil cooked Gemma a filet mignon dinner and presented her with chocolate and the ring for dessert! Gemma and Phil now have a handsome baby boy, Theodore, who was born at the end of August 2021.
