We laughed a lot, talked longer than we planned to, and it didn’t feel like “meeting someone from an app.” It felt like finding someone we didn’t know we’d been waiting for. And then life got weird—fast. About four weeks later, the world hit pause, plans changed overnight, and we suddenly had a whole lot more time together than most couples get at the beginning. Instead of the usual “take it slow,” we got the real-life version right away: long talks, everyday moments, and learning how to be a team quickly.
