Once upon a time, in a dental office full of patients. Kelsey the assistant, met Philip the dental offices favorite Ginger patient. They started off as acquaintance’s and kept things professional. Until one day Phil came in for a cleaning. Kelsey decided to help the hygienist out and take Phil's x-rays. One conversation led to another; one Facebook friend request led to a message. Their first date was a Sharks game, March 1st, 2018. They’ve been inseparable since, getting their first apartment together after three months. It all goes back to that saying, "When you know, you know." And they both knew they were meant for each other!

December 19, 2019, the big day was here! Phil arranged snowboarding lessons for Kelsey's twin sister Katelyn, Her fiancé Joey and their daughter Bella. While everyone was getting geared up and ready, Phil had some time to talk with the instructor and bring her in on the big surprise. She was thrilled to be a part of it and had the perfect spot picked out. After an amazing day of riding, the time was here. As the instructor walked them over to take pictures, Phil’s heart was racing! After all the photos were done the instructor asked to take one last “couple’s” photo! While Kelsey was looking away, Phil snuck down on one knee, Kelsey turned around and before she knew what was happening, he asked her to be his Wife. Blinded by the bright sun's reflection on the snow, all Kelsey could say was “It’s so shiny, YES!”. The instructor surprised them with some champagne for a dixie cup toast to celebrate!
