Things To Do

ROCA

247 South Kalamazoo Mall, Kalamazoo, MI 49007

Where we had our first date! Upscale/unique mexican food and drinks. Located in The Kalamazoo Mall, which is a "famous" landmark as it was the first outdoor pedestrian mall in the United States. It opened in 1959 and served as a model for others across the nation.

One Well Brewing

4213 Portage Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49001

A local favorite for their drinks, great unique food, arcade and board games. Fun for everyone!

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park

1000 East Beltline Avenue Northeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49525

A midwest-Michigan favorite for their gardens and sculptures throughout. Located an hour north of Kalamazoo in Grand Rapids, MI

South Haven or Saugatuck

MI

For our out-of-state guests new to the "Great Lakes State:" the west coast of Michigan is home to some quaint towns with beautiful beaches. Either is located approximately an hour west of Kalamazoo, certainly worth the drive.

St. Julian Winery and Distillery

716 South Kalamazoo Street, Paw Paw, MI 49079

Michigan's longest running winery, over 100 years old. Serves tastings and by-the-glass wine, as well as liquor. Hard to go wrong with all of their offerings. Julie is a wine club member, so she's biased. Located in Paw Paw - 30 minutes west of Kalamazoo
