Please arrive between 5:00-5:25pm. The ceremony will promptly begin at 5:30pm.
Yes! Unfortunately, the downtown portion of northbound I-5 will be closed from August 15-18. Perfect! The closure starts at the I-90 interchange between SoDo and the International District, and stretches north toward the Northeast 45th Street exit across the Ship Canal Bridge. We HIGHLY suggest leaving lots of extra time to get to and from the venue.
Lyft/Uber - We highly recommend using a rideshare service, especially if you plan to imbibe. Saftey is our #1 priority! Public Transit - The 124 runs from downtown Seattle to right in front of the venue. Driving - If you choose to drive, we suggest arriving early to find street parking or a spot in the lot across the street.
Festive, fun, cocktail attire! Wear a dress, jumpsuit, suit, slacks or anything with a bit of pizazz that makes you feel like a million bucks. Lean into your creative side! However you interpret that will be fine with us! If Phil can wear shorts to someone else's wedding, you can wear shorts to ours. But to be honest, his legs did look really good.
Two signature cocktails, beer, wine, soft drinks, and coffee/tea are on us! Other cocktails are available for purchase if you’d like!
We truly love all of your children (even the brand new ones we haven't met!), but we ask that they stay home for the evening. Thank you for understanding!
Seattle summers are warm during the day and cool at night, so we recommend sunglasses for the outdoor cocktail hour and a light wrap or sweater to cover bare shoulders at night.
The ceremony and dinner will take place inside. Cocktail hour will be in the courtyard.
There are several hotels throughout Seattle, but they are quite expensive. We find that Airbnbs and VRBOs are a more cost effective option. If you go that route, we suggest looking in these neighborhoods: Georgetown, West Seattle, Columbia City, and Beacon Hill.
