This is where our hotel block is located. As of now, it's full, but feel free to call them and check in about last minute openings.
Travel Note
Besides the Apple Tree Inn, there is a wide range of hotels, inns and Airbnbs throughout the greater area, which is home to many small and medium-sized towns. On the smaller side, there are Lenox, MA, Stockbridge, MA, New Lebanon, NY, Chatham, NY, and Canaan, NY. On the larger side, there is Pittsfield, MA, which is one of the few in the area that we’re aware of that has bigger name-brand options like Hilton Gardens and Holiday Inn. Because of Tanglewood Music Festival, all of the smaller, boutiquey options will fill up quickly and prices will go up everywhere!
Travel Note
We will be hiring shuttles (spoiler alert: school buses) to transport people from Lenox, MA to and back from the events on both Friday and Saturday. If you are not staying in the town of Lenox, but would like to use the shuttles, you will need to coordinate transportation to Lenox. We currently expect the shuttles to make two pick up/drop off stops en route to/from the events: one somewhere within the town of Lenox proper, and one at the Apple Tree Inn itself for those booking a room there. Exact locations to follow, but Lenox proper is very small and there are at least four public parking lots within a very short walk of Main Street (as you can see on this parking map of Lenox: bit.ly/3tWuPxO) and the Apple Tree Inn is a 3 minute drive from Lenox proper. Putting it all together, here are links to the approximate shuttle routes for the Friday (bit.ly/4954cFG) and Saturday (bit.ly/48MDHFj) events.

Besides the shuttles, there will be on-site parking at both the Friday and Saturday events (specifics to follow). But we encourage you to use the shuttles so that you can relax and fully enjoy the time with us without any extra hassle or worrying about a designated driver.
Travel Note
The area is rural and so Lyfts, Ubers, and the like are in very short supply and cannot be relied upon. For local transportation, your best bets are carpooling, renting a car for the weekend, or booking through a local car service in advance.
Flight
Albany is the closest airport at about a 40 minute drive away from the events. New York area airports (JFK, LGA, EWR) are all about 3 hours away by car depending on traffic. Boston Logan is about 2.5 hours away by car. Renting a car or booking a car service from any of these should be easy.
Train
MTA Metro North trains leave multiple times daily from Grand Central and will take you as far north as Wassaic, NY, but that's still about an hour’s drive from New Lebanon and Lenox so if you’re coming from NYC, then carpooling or renting a car for the weekend would be easier options overall. Amtrak offers some service between NYC and Albany, but that’s also about 40 minutes away from the events by car so the story is the same.
Travel Note
Peter Pan offers bus service between Port Authority in NYC and Lenox, MA, with one round trip bus per day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only. If interested, it looks like you could leave from NYC at 10am on Friday morning and arrive that afternoon at about 1:30pm in time for the welcome event, and then return from Lenox on Sunday at 4:45pm, arriving back in NYC by about 8:15pm.
