Sometimes the best things begin in the most unexpected ways. For us, it started at a crawfish boil with friends. After that first meeting, we spent the next several months running into each other at different events and getting to know one another as friends. Somewhere along the way, what began as casual conversations and shared laughs started to feel like something more. Before long, we decided to take the next step and officially start dating. Three years later, while celebrating Christmas in Playa del Carmen, he decided it was the perfect time to pop the question. After spending the day exploring Xcaret Adventure Park, he found the right moment toward the end of the day to get down on one knee—and of course, the answer was yes. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable Christmas Day. From a crawfish boil with friends to a beachside proposal, our story has already been quite the adventure—and we’re just getting started.
