Nhi and I met our freshmen year at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2005 through mutual friends. Quickly, we became close friends, roommates and chartered a sorority, aKDPhi, together within a year. We were together so much in college, we were given the couple name Nhi-Anh (Neon). Over the past few years, we've bonded even more over playing Settlers of Catan and going camping together with close friends. Truly my best friend, Nhi is someone that I can confide in and more importantly share a good meal with! I am grateful to have Nhi stand next to me on my wedding day!

Being my younger brother couldn’t have been easy. With 4 years between us we had some differences, notably my need to enforce/create rules and Casey’s love of challenging them. Despite our very different approaches, we shared all kinds of fun, mostly involving competition, where Casey always proved himself a worthy opponent. As we have gotten older, we have fallen into a family tradition of sparse contact, but during those opportunities have formed a better/tighter bond. While mostly unspoken, I can tell that as we have moved into adulthood our shared histories will be the foundation of a lifelong friendship. Casey has proven to be a loyal advocate for me and I hope to be the same for him. I am grateful to have Casey stand next to me on my wedding day, even if he is a few inches taller!
