FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by or before May 1st, via the digital 'RSVP' page of our wedding website.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Especially given that this is a destination wedding, your presence + best wishes are more than enough! However if you are still feeling compelled, can’t make it or if your love language is gift -giving, you can find a list of registry funds on our wedding website.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony celebration will begin at 1pm. More details on this coming soon.

Question

What will the weather be like in Las Vegas?

Answer

Las Vegas in July is a special kind of hot, expect temperatures to reach over 100 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, the hottest hours between 2-4pm. Most of our events will be indoors so we will be able to stay cool during the day. Don't forget that Las Vegas is in the desert, so staying hydrated with water and electrolytes is key!

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will held indoors at the Chapel of the Flowers Glass Gardens Chapel.

Question

Is there a dress code? What does Cocktail Attire mean?

Answer

Dress code for our ceremony + cocktail reception is cocktail attire, every other event is as casual (or as dressy!) as you like! You can find dress codes for each event on the 'Schedule' page of our wedding website. Not sure what's appropriate cocktail attire? Check out these articles: https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364 https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire https://www.sumissura.com/en/blog/cocktail-attire-for-women

Question

What is a Cocktail Reception?

Answer

A cocktail reception is a more laid back wedding reception, which mixes passed hors d'oeuvres with food stations, allowing our guests to eat when they want. It also allows us to enjoy a more relaxed space and socialize more freely with our guests. We will provide an open bar with beer, wine and liquor options along with signature cocktails and end the night with dessert and a sweet farewell.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In an effort to keep our wedding as small and intimate as possible, we are limiting plus ones to spouses, fiancés and live-in partners only. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love and adore all of the children in our lives, we are only able to invite a few close family members’ children.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. Please use the booking link on our 'Travel' page to receive a discounted rate. There are also variety of accommodation options in the Las Vegas area including other hotels, resorts and AirBnBs. Please book whichever option works best for your schedule and budget.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please inform us of any food allergies or preferences on your RSVP and we will do our best to make sure we have options for you.

Question

Answer

The Venetian offers self-parking and valet options for hotel guests and non-hotel guests.

Question
