We are so excited to see everyone & celebrate with you!

We traveled to Colorado the previous October to visit Luke's family friend, Paul Martin, at his Crystal Shop in Salida. Luke waited for Kait to express interest in her favorite stone and bought it on the sly. A few months later in January Luke made plans to propose to her on her birthday . He wrote a letter and put it in the wine bottle he had saved from the first time he had made her dinner, and hid it in the hollow of a tree in woods that they hiked through a few times. He came home on her birthday asking to go out to that spot because he "had seen a shed deer antler while driving past there". Kait said... "No, I don't feel well from my COVID shot, maybe tomorrow". Thank goodness he didn't leave the ring out there. :) They headed out the next morning with the pups & sure enough after trying to loop her around that tree a few times, she finally spotted the bottle. She read the letter, he got down on one knee, and the rest history! Luke took her out to dinner for her birthday that evening and waiting at a table with balloons and smiles there friends to surprise her & they had the best night.
