Train
Taking the Amtrak from Boston or Providence area is a great option. For families, booking tickets together can get you 60% off tickets with a group of 8. Smaller groups can also get discounts. If enough people plan on taking the Amtrak in, we'll look into getting a shuttle from Penn Station to the hotels.

We've reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Brooklyn Bridge location. To reserve adjoining rooms, please make a note during the online booking or call to book using our block code. This block begins on Saturday, August 31st and ends on September 2nd. King room raters are $225; double room rates are $245.

We've reserved a block of King and Double guest rooms at $200 and $225 per night respectively. The block is from Friday, August 30th to Monday, September 2nd, but can be booked for fewer nights if desired. Disclaimer: We have heard that the King size beds here are a weird size—they are the width of a normal King bed but shorter than normal. Folks over 6 feet may not be comfortable.

Our hotel blocks are good, but it's possible you will find a better rate elsewhere. If you find a better rate elsewhere on a booking site, that's great! Very walkable to Cobble Hill, Carrol Gardens, and Brooklyn Heights where there is beautiful architecture and nice shops. This is the best for those who wanna explore and be embedded in a neighborhood. Hilton Brooklyn: https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/nycbshh-hilton-brooklyn-new-york/ Similar area, similar benefits to the NU Hotel Tru by Hilton Gowanus: https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/jfkibru-tru-brooklyn/ is a brand new hotel that is great for those who want a nice stay for a bargain. It's probably better for young people located near 4 breweries in a more hip & industrial part of this area in Brooklyn. Towneplace Suites: https://towneplacesuites.marriott.com/ is literally next door to the Tru by Hilton. Same situation. Brand new.
