Phan and Scott always have been international. They grew up in foreign countries and spent their early 20s abroad! However, they met on Bumble one summer night, and sparks flew. While on a first date at Ipsento 606 coffee shop in Wicker Park, they both realized they walked the same Kaosan Road (in Bangkok, Thailand). After the cheese-less pizza dinner and arcade games at Emporium, their hands touched and the rest is history.

After a week of traveling through Arizona including staring out into the beauty of the Grand Canyon, Phan and Scott relaxed for Phan's Birthday at a romantic ancient-themed spa in Chicago. Sweating a bit, and not just from the temperature, Scott got down on one knee in a hot tub. Phan could not believe what was happening and soon heard the words she always dreamed off...'`will you marry me'. While there was no ring yet, there was plenty of love. Through the mist and fog, she said yes!
