Airports

We recommend flying into John Wayne Airport (SNA) if possible. It is the closest and most convenient option, located about 20 minutes from the reception. It is a smaller airport that is easy to navigate, though it may have fewer direct flights, especially from the East Coast. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) offers the most flight options and direct flights particularly for guests traveling from farther away. However, it is about 45-75 minutes from Orange County depending on traffic, which can be heavy, so additional travel time there and back should be expected. Long Beach Airport (LGB) is another smaller, easy-to-navigate airport located about 30 minutes away. It can be a great option if flight availability works for you, though it has more limited routes than LAX. San Diego International Airport (SAN) is about 75 minutes away and can be a good option if you are planning to stay in CA for a longer period. The drive is comparable in distance to LAX, but typically has more predictable traffic. We recommend renting a car or using Uber/Lyft during your stay, as the ceremony and reception are approximately 30 minutes apart and there is ample parking available at both venues.

Driving

Please note that Saint Bonaventure Church and The Hacienda are 30 minutes apart by car. The Hacienda will have a sign on W 17th St, please continue down College Ave, and you will see the sign and parking lot for the Hacienda.

We’ve reserved a small block of rooms at The Westin South Coast Plaza, which is about 20 minutes from the venue. It’s a more upscale option and a great choice if you’re looking for a comfortable stay during the weekend. We also have a block at the Holiday Inn Express Santa Ana, which is a more budget-friendly option located only about 12 minutes away from The Hacienda! There are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs in the Santa Ana / Anaheim area, so feel free to shop around and book whatever works best for you. You may find better rates or more convenient options depending on your plans.
