The formal invitation contains the RSVP card, which reserves a seat for you (and your guest if indicated) at the reception. We have affixed a postage stamp to the RSVP envelope for your convenience, so please drop it at your closest mailbox, thank you! Not everyone who received a formal invitation to the reception is invited to the Welcome Dinner and/or Farewell Pool Party. Since these are more casual events, they are mainly open to those visiting out of town--we want to make the journey worth it and to show our appreciation for guests traveling so far to be with us on our big day. So if you received a Details card in your invitation, please RSVP online for the other wedding festivities if you plan on partaking! Thank you!
The official RSVP by date is August 15th, but ideally we would love for you to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation! This would allow the wedding planner and caterer to make the necessary arrangements, and help make the process as smooth as possible.
The ceremony will start at 5pm SHARP.
Dress code is black tie. However, if you do not own a tuxedo, you can probably get away with a dress jacket.
We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list intimate. Thank you for not bringing a guest unless specified on your invitation!
The resort is currently only offering a closed block, so we are waiting for RSVPs to roll in so we can book the appropriate number of rooms in the block (without being penalized for unbooked rooms). We are also searching for open blocks in other nearby hotels that are more affordable, as well as posting AirBnb links in the upcoming week--please bear with us!
Since the beginning, Coco was always a Daddy's girl (after all, he was the one who rescued her). But ever since that bout of food poisoning back in May, the tides have turned and she is all about mommy. Let's see how things will be in October...
