FAQs

Questions?
Question

Why Maui, Hawaii?

Answer

Maui is where we got engaged and it's one of our favorite places to be. We want our family and friends to enjoy themselves and take some time to relax on one of the most beautiful islands in the world. We want our wedding to be a mini vacation for everyone who chooses to celebrate with us!

Question

How long will we be staying in Maui?

Answer

We plan to arrive to Maui on Sunday, October 4th and stay until Thursday, October 8th. On the morning of October 8th, we will be flying to the neighboring island of Kauai to enjoy some relaxing time together as newlyweds for our honeymoon!

Question

What do I wear to the ceremony?

Answer

We would love everyone to look their best and are requesting tropical cocktail attire. Think tropical flowers for the color palette; greens, blues, pinks, oranges, yellows. For ladies we suggest airy dresses, skirts and floral tops. For men, linen pants, short/long sleeve button ups. Wedges, sandals, and loafers. Please no jeans, no t-shirts.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

While we wish we could invite everyone, we've kept our guest list intimate and are only able to host those named on the invitation. Destination weddings require precise planning and we have budgeted only for a certain number of people. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us directly.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by August 10th. There will be a QR code on the back of your invitation that links you here to our website to RSVP. If you have not responded by this date, we unfortunately have to mark you down as 'not attending'. We would love to celebrate with you, however we require a headcount for our venue so any late responses cannot be accommodated.

Question

Do you have a room block?

Answer

No, we don't have a room block. We know everyone can have different preferences and budgets when it comes to hotel choice. We didn't want anyone to feel pressured to stay at the same resort we are staying at. We have linked a few options and tips on our "Travel" section of the website.

Question

Will I need a rental car when I book my accomodations?

Answer

That's completely up to you. Depending on how long you will be staying on the island determines on how much you'll be able to see. The island is big and half the fun is driving around and exploring! From our experience, a rental car was a must because it gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace.
