We’re getting married!

We met in March of 2016 through our best friends and ended up on a double date—two high schoolers from different Rapid City schools who quickly realized something just clicked. After graduating in 2018, we spent a year navigating long distance—Taylor headed to Minnesota State University, Mankato and Ross to the University of South Dakota. One year (and a lot of phone calls) later, Ross transferred to MSU, and we spent the rest of college side by side, graduating together in 2022. Grad school brought us to Vermillion, SD, where we moved in together and pursued our doctoral degrees—occupational therapy for Taylor, law for Ross. We got engaged in December 2022, somewhere between exams and coffee runs. Not long after, we added a dog to the mix and settled into life together while balancing busy grad school schedules. Now back home, we’re studying for boards and planning the wedding we’ve been looking forward to for years. We’ve grown up together, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people who’ve supported us along the way.
