We're getting married!

After some long single years in our 20’s and 30’s, both of us were about ready to give up on the dating scene. Having little hope left we decided to give it one last shot on an online dating app. Even though we had both had accounts for a while, it wasn’t until the perfect moment in time that we matched! Still being cautiously optimistic, we started texting and after a couple weeks set up our first date at none other than... Roosters a “Fun Casual Joint” in German Village. We hit it off right away and couldn’t stop talking. Even at the end of the date, Kate said she was about done for the night and ready to go home. Wouldn’t you know it, we stayed for another hour still talking and connecting like we never wanted it to end. We were both so excited about this new person that we met, and quickly set up the next date. After that we haven’t stopped dating each other and are always looking forward to that next experience or adventure with each other. Fast forward to August of 2025 where Mike set up one of the most epic dates of all….to Sandals Jamaica. His love for traveling and exploring new places has a special place in his heart, and going to another country at an all inclusive resort with the love of his life was to take the cake. We lived it up in Jamaica, snorkeling with the fish, riding boats into the sunset, and jumping off high cliffs with the locals. We fell in love all over again in Jamaica, so much so that we unexpectedly started the greatest adventure of all time…bringing new life into this world. We are so excited to continue this journey and start the rest of our lives with the people we love while expecting our first child in May 2026. We are thankful for the people surrounding us and the love and support we feel from each of you. 2026 is going to be the best year yet, and we look forward to celebrating with our closest friends and family in our lives.
