Bride
Groom
Maid of Honor
Skylar's niece, but more of a best friend. Our wedding wouldn't have been complete without her being right next to Skylar as she says, "I do". Skylar shares many memories with Savanna, it is so hard to narrow it down to just one of her favorites. Skylar loves when they go shopping just to "window shop" but always end up with a full cart and a fun drink and a lighter wallet. They share one brain cell and have their own special language for things. Truly grateful that Savanna is in our lives.
Maid of Honor
Skylar met Kenna while working at Old Navy in Kearney. This meant they spent a lot of time together complaining about customers, their co-workers, and life in general. One of Skylar's favorite memories with Kenna is when she came over to their apartment, built Legos together while watching the Shrek movies and eating lots of pizza. They haven't known each other for a long time, but Skylar cannot imagine Kenna not being in her life.
Bridesmaid
A childhood friend (she's really family at this point) of the Bride. Avery and Skylar met back in seventh grade when they both tried out for the volleyball team in middle school. They grew very close quickly and kept it up through high school and all of otheir many college switches. She became part of the family, spending holidays with the Belt family, joining them at Mahoney every summer, and knowing all the family gossip. They have so many memories together, but some of Skylar’s favorites include all the hair changes, eating at Olive Garden once a week, getting ice cream at McDonalds often, and truly so much more. Skylar is forever grateful she decided to try to be more athletic and play volleyball.
Best Man
A childhood friend of the Groom. Keeashaun and Tate met in the 4th grade when they were put on the same football team. They got closer during middle school sports, something they bonded over and enjoyed. As they got older, their friendship grew stronger, spending most days in high school together. They would spend the summers by detassling, going to workouts, and finishing the day at Kee's house, where everyone seemed to gather. They were also roommates at UNK for a year. They share lots of memories, most that won't be shared, but nonetheless, something Tate will always remember.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the Bride. There are so many things that could be said about Dezi and Skylar's relationship. Like the time Skylar had one of those battery operated Volkswagon beetles and Dezi was driving it down the street while pulling Skylar with a rope who was sitting on a sled. Or when they would get Zestos and sit in the Davis Middle School parking lot to watch the storms roll in, just for it to be rain. Or all the long car rides and Starbucks stops they would do when they were bored and just wanted to listen to music. Skylar is very happy to have her sister by her side on the big day!
Groomsman
College friend of the Groom. Unlike the other two groomsmen, they met Andrew much more recently. Tate and Andrew met because Tate was looking for another roommate for the house he was moving into and found Andrew on Facebook, who was looking for a place to live. Although they haven't known each other for long, they were able to build a lot of memories together due to them living with each other for a year. One of Tate's favorite memories of Andrew is the time Andrew tried cooking a steak and had to put it back on the grill three times because it was nowhere near being done. They have had many drinks, late nights, and overall great times in the little time they've known each other. Both the bride and groom, will always be grateful for that accidental finding on Facebook.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the Groom, but also became a sister to the Bride. Stasia is one of the few people that Tate can say he has known his whole life. When growing up, they didn't always see eye to eye, but when it came down to it, they always were on the same side. One of the best memories that demonstrates this is when Tate was eight and Stasia was eleven, they wouldn't rat each other out, and as a result, neither were allowed to go sledding. As they have gotten older, their relationship has grown much closer, and Tate would consider her one of his best friends.
Groomsman
A childhood friend of the Groom. They met for the first time in the middle of the first grade, when Tate moved to Hastings. Chayce was someone Tate bonded with quickly and considered a best friend since day one. As they grew up, that friendship never wavered. They were always in the same groups, participating in a variety of sports and being bus partners going to every sporting event. Tate will never forget many of the memories they share and will always be grateful for the friend that he has been over all this time.
