How will I get to the wedding?

Answer

There will be no parking available at the wedding venue itself and Uber availability in Monkton is limited. Round-trip shuttles will be provided to and from the Courtyard Marriott in Hunt Valley, MD. This option is available to everyone and is the preferred way of getting to and from the Smith's residence. The shuttles will be running from 3:00PM to 11:00PM.

What do I wear to the Wedding?

Answer

Please keep in mind that the entire night including the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, so we encourage guests to choose footwear that is comfortable for walking on grass and uneven terrain. The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. We hope you'll join us in dressing up for an evening of celebration beneath the trees, filled with great food, dancing, and time spent together. For women, this might mean a cocktail dress, midi or maxi dress, or a dressy jumpsuit. For men, a suit or dress pants paired with a dress shirt and jacket is recommended. Ties are welcome but not required.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive between 3:45 PM and 4:15 PM. The bride will walk down the aisle at 4:30 PM.

What do I wear to the Welcome Party?

Answer

The dress code for the Welcome Party is dressy casual. We encourage guests to dress in a way that feels polished and celebratory. For women, this might mean a dress, jumpsuit, or an elevated top paired with tailored pants or a skirt. For men, a button-down shirt or polished polo with chinos or tailored pants is perfect. A blazer or sport coat is welcome but not required

Am I invited to the Welcome Party?

Answer

Yes! Everyone is welcome to join the couple for a pre-wedding celebration! Drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served. The Milton Inn is a 5 minute drive from the Courtyard Marriott. Please feel free to drive as parking is plentiful at the venue. There will also be vans that will run from 7:00pm - 11:00pm to and from the Courtyard Marriott.
