FAQs

Question

What should I know about the mountain air and altitude?

Answer

Devil’s Thumb Ranch sits at 8,500 feet, so the air is thinner and drier than you might be used to. This can dehydrate you faster than usual, even if you don’t feel thirsty! Be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the weekend, bring a refillable water bottle, and consider packing hydration packets. Relax & Recharge: Visit Ranch Creek Spa for high-altitude treatments and oxygen therapy. Extra Oxygen: Oxygen To You! and Bluebird Oxygen offer in-room oxygen delivery.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving before Friday evening so you can settle in and enjoy the stunning Rocky Mountain views before the festivities begin! The Welcome Party kicks off on Friday evening featuring cocktails and light bites to start the weekend celebration.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Since all wedding festivities will take place at Devil's Thumb Ranch, we highly encourage you to stay on-site to make the most of the weekend! Please reach out directly to Peyton or Will with any questions.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 4 pm. The ceremony will start at 4:30 sharp! We want you to have plenty of time to settle in!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by an indoor reception. Mountain weather can change quickly, so we recommend bringing a layer and dressing accordingly.
