Matron of Honor
Paige has been by my side since the good 'ole Mount Carmel days. She is one of the most loyal friends a girl could ask for. I can always count on her to pick me up and pour me a glass of wine after a hard day. Paige's family practically adopted me into their continuously growing family in high school, and she has been my pseudo-sister ever since. In high school we started “Paige&Peyton” days where we’d have a “fancy” lunch in the French Quarter and hit up some shops-- just the two of us. We both have moved many times over the years, but we still always make the trips for some much needed “P&P” time. I couldn't even think about getting married without her at my side! Paige is a Regional Medical Device Sales Manager for Offset Medical in Atlanta, GA.
Maid of Honor
Mary Kate and I met in second grade at St. Ann elementary school. We joke that our imaginary games as kids consisted 95% of set and costume design and 5% of actually playing. Some of our charades included forcing our family members to buy products from our skin and haircare line, PGKF kids, and gathering friends to join in the spring musicale event of Flea Bay on the St. Ann blacktop. It was only appropriate to continue the trend and have her at my side to help plan the most important day of my life. As a bonus, I get to name her amazing son, Grant, our ring bearer! Fun fact: MK dates Shourjo’s Best Man, Evan, who went to Emory with us – their relationship is the definition of my worlds colliding. Mary Kate is an Attorney at Adams & Reese Law Firm in New Orleans, LA.
Bridesmaid
Madison and I met in high school at Mount Carmel Academy. Through the years, Madison somehow managed to be the “mom” of the group while also always securing her spot next to me on every dance floor. For example, we hit the Lil Wayne concert one Thursday night senior year and then managed to pass our AP Calculus test the next morning (Sorry Nancy & Lisa!). I can always count on her honest guidance and supportive presence during all my highs and lows, and I am so lucky and proud to call her my friend. Madison is a Clinical Pediatric Physical Therapist for Ochsner in New Orleans, LA.
Bridesmaid
Laura failed in securing the spot as my “big sis” in our sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, but then she just upgraded and became my bestie and roommate instead. We were inseparable throughout our time at Emory together, and she was a big reason Shourjo and I were friends in college. Laura was there through all the stressful classes, college drama, and extremely fun parties and trips. I am still working on getting her to move back to Virginia closer to me, but I am also not mad at her for giving me an excuse to visit NYC. Laura is a Supervising Associate at Ernst & Young in New York, NY.
Bridesmaid
Joycee and I’s relationship started like many do these days-- online. When I was accepted to the University of South Alabama for nursing school, a friend of a friend of a friend on Facebook connected us. I set up a Facetime date to make sure she wasn't a serial killer, and, thankfully, it ended up being love at first sight. She pushed me to break my terrible procrastination habits during the school week, and then she pressured me to take shots at O’Daly’s Irish Pub on the weekends. Shourjo and I had just started officially dating a few months before I started school, so Joycee third-wheeled throughout our first year as a couple. I couldn’t have asked for a better roommate for that crazy year of my life. Joycee is an ICU Registered Nurse in Denver, CO.
Bridesmaid
Harley is a one-of-a-kind friend who I met at Mount Carmel Academy. She has been my perfect companion throughout life– easy going, entertaining, and can talk to a wall. Her mother joined forces with Nancy to throw us an epic, joint sweet sixteen birthday party that made us think we were MTV stars. Harley and I picked up after spending college apart without skipping a beat. I have loved being a part of her and her (brand new!) husband’s relationship and vice versa with her and Shourjo. She’s as smart and determined as she is goofy, and I love having her in my life. Harley is an Orthopedic Spine Surgery Physician’s Associate in New Orleans, LA.
Bridesmaid
Julia was in my Theta pledge class at Emory University. She quickly became my favorite person to swap stories and break down gossip with. On Shourjo’s Match Day in 2020, I found out that I had won Match Day, because Julia’s now fiancé (Daniel) had also matched in the DC area. When Julia is not busy saving the teeth of Virginia, I enjoy turning her brain to mush with Bachelorette watch parties and girly wine nights. I am so thankful to have her living near me and love the “bromance” that Shourjo and Daniel have formed. Julia is a Dentist at Bunin Dental in Washington, DC.
Bridesmaid
Victoria is another one who has stuck around since the St. Ann School days. Victoria has always been my creative bestie. We sewed multiple costumes, staged many mirror photoshoots, and made-up dance routines to entertain all of the New Orleans sock-hop goers. We grew up together at Kelli’s Kreative Dance and Dancer’s Pointe – spending many dance classes, rehearsals, and reviews together. I never doubted she would become a big-shot choreographer when we grew up. Seeing her now on the national choreography circuit and engaged to marry her high school sweetheart, I am proud to call her a lifetime friend. Victoria is a Professional Choreographer in New Orleans, LA.
Bridesmaid
Blair and I met through Mary Kate when we were still living in pre-Covid bliss. Blair fit right in with our group of friends and soon started dating one of our groomsmen, Connor. After the pandemic hit, Blair was a member of our “Quarankrewe” pod in 2020 with whom we planned covid-safe Kan Jam picnics in Audubon Park, a dramatic wine tasting competition and some extremely heated games of Codenames. Blair has developed into one of my close friends who I can be my unfiltered self. She has proven that making friends in adulthood is actually possible! Blair is an Attorney at Deutsch Kerrigan Law Firm in New Orleans, LA.
Bridesmaid
Ashley has been my friend for as long as I can remember. She is in every single photo album and camcorder video of my childhood. She is one of the most kindhearted souls I know- although, she did attempt to steal all my gifts at my third birthday party! I admire her sense of adventure – she up and moved to Ecuador right out of college and has since travelled the world. She, then, turned her experiences into an app called Teletour. I am so happy to have Ash in my life, and I know every time we get together it feels like no time has passed. Ashley is the CEO of Teletour and Senior Analyst in Software Sales in New Orleans, LA.
Best Man
Evan O’Keefe and I met when he was a freshman at Emory and pledged Sigma Nu, the fraternity we were in. After living together for 10 years in at least five different houses across our travels through Atlanta, Brisbane and New Orleans, Evan is family to me. Others know Evan as the least successful president in Emory history, closely rivaled by another member of this wedding party, Nate Causey. Evan’s interests include cricket, the Kansas City chiefs, wearing beanies when the weather is too hot, poor sportsmanship during board games and his girlfriend is Peyton’s MOH, Mary Kate. He is Winnie’s second favorite uncle. Evan is currently a second-year internal medicine resident at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.
Groomsman
It seems like Tucker and I have known each other longer than we have, as our mutual childhood friends Carly Causey and Rachel Dash had us destined for friendship years before we ever even met. Luckily, they were right, as Tucker, Nate and I became a perfect fit in just the first few weeks of freshman year at Emory University. A connoisseur of hot dogs and white bread, Tucker is also the most adventurous of my friends and is one of two (along with Chris) who have met my extended family in India. Though I don’t fully understand what he does for a living, I do know that he has benefited greatly from the Covid pandemic (WTH). Just kidding! Tucker’s company was instrumental during a time of crisis, providing masks in bulk to those in need. Tucker currently lives in LA, California where he is a small business owner.
Groomsman
Nate and I met during my first few days at Emory University. Initially, I was never more convinced that I would NOT be friends with someone as Nate was 1) kind of annoying and 2) continuously butchering my name the first handful of times we met. As it turns out, Nate became of my closest and most reliable friends I’ve ever had. He is the big brother of two of my other dearest friends, Ben Causey and Evan O’Keefe. His interests include Chicago Med, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, and Chicago. He is best known for being the second least successful Sigma Nu president in Emory history. Nate resides in Miami, Florida, where Covid has never existed. He is currently the head of strategy and operations at Jimdo, a tech company based out of Germany.
Groomsman
Joey and I were roommates in the Sigma Nu house our senior year. After dissecting every episode of How I Met your Mother and eating a lifetime’s worth of hummus in just two semesters, Joey moved to Washington, DC. While some will recognize Joey from his presence in the iconic “snow day cubby” photo, Joey is also famous for having the bachelor party where everyone got food poisoning from undercooked meat. Peyton and I have loved having Joey, his wife, Johnsie, and their little girl, Martha Carter, as neighbors for the last two years. Joey is currently the VP of sales for the Morning Consultant.
Groomsman
Back in 2016 when looking for roommates with Evan for our first year of medical school in Brisbane, Connor entered my life via a Craigslist ad. Connor quickly became not just a friend, but family to both Evan and I. The three of us lived together for two years in Australia and another two years in New Orleans. Connor’s interests include secretly studying, cricket, the Saints, objectively bad movies, and his girlfriend, Blair. Most importantly, he is Winnie’s favorite of all his NOLA uncles. Connor is currently a second-year general surgery resident at LSU in Shreveport, LA.
Groomsman
Evan Hughes and I met when he was a freshman at Emory and pledged Sigma Nu. Initially, my impression of Evan Hughes was similar to that of Evan O’Keefe: nice but probably not long-term friend material. Luckily, I couldn’t have been more wrong, as Evan and I have been incredibly close through college and after. We have not just led parallel lives navigating the world of medical school and endless board exams, but I’ve also had the unique experience of being a resident at the same hospital that Evan was a 4th year medical student. Evan is also a co-culprit in the water-balloon-Subaru-windshield incident of 2013. Evan is currently an ENT medical resident in Upstate New York.
Groomsman
Ben Causey and I first met when he visited, his brother, Nate Causey at Emory during my freshman year—immediately becoming friends. Sometimes I think of Nate as a placeholder Causey during our freshman year until Ben started at Emory…just kidding. As neighbors for a year in DC during my first year of residency, Ben and I have done serious things like partake in the march for Black Lives Matter and silly things like binge hour after hour of the greatest social experiment in history: Survivor. Our friendship has even withstood the devastating water balloon windshield Subaru incident of 2013, an event for which Ben was the mastermind. Ben currently lives in Colorado with his girlfriend, Genna, working as a consultant for a healthcare startup called AKASA.
Groomsman
My first memory of Chris is in our freshman year at Lower Merion High School at cross country practice. Stoic in nature, I initially thought Chris was one of the upperclassmen on the team. Over the years, Chris has cemented himself as not just one of my best friends but as an honorary Chakravorty—almost never missing a Thanksgiving dinner or any other big family occasion. Having spent years living in different time zones (Chris living in Boston for undergrad and the Republic of Jordan after college), it is a treat to be neighbors again living in the DC area. Chris’ interests include cricket, traveling the world, reading for pleasure (what??) and international relations. Chris is currently completing his law degree at American University School of Law in Washington DC.

Ron Mentel and I met in elementary school and have been friends ever since. From playing on the basketball courts at Penn Wynne as little kids to “secret” house parties in high school to hanging out at the beach with Drew during the summer to partying in New Orleans during Mardi Gras—Ron has been there for it all. When you see Ron, ask him about our memorable drive to Delaware. Ron is currently living in Philadelphia working as a financial advisor for Mutual of America.

Drew and I met in elementary school but didn’t become close friends until high school -- and even more so in college. The magic really started at the iconic Planet Fitness in Ardmore, PA where we would work out together during the summers (occasionally with Charles Barkley). Not only that, but after many memorable Memorial Day weekends at the Jersey Shore, Drew did the unthinkable and visited for not just one, but TWO Mardi Gras while I lived in NOLA. Drew is currently a general surgery resident at the University of Pennsylvania.
