Peyton and I had met at the lakefront in 2022...I know kids. We never really talked much, but we had many mutual friends. In December of 2023, he sent me a random snapchat and I really did not know what to do. I told my best friend, “I just got a snap from Peyton Kennedy” and she told me "Snap him back." Well, little did I know we would end up here. I knew he had a little girl, the most precious little girl I have ever seen, however I wanted no part in that role at 19 years old. Peyton never gave up on trying to have my heart. It then got to a point where I just wanted to be friends, only a few days into us talking to each other. For the simple fact I just wasn't sure about helping him raise a child at such a young age. During the time of us being "just friends" we still talked and hung out every single day. Then one night on my way home, I realized I couldn't get this big smile off my face and that's when I knew I was going to be with him, and he was going to be the one I marry. On January 1, 2024, he then asked me to be his girlfriend and of course I said, "I would love to" with once again the biggest smile on my face from ear to ear. In March, I was able to meet his beautiful little girl, Paris. Let me tell you about this baby. She completely took my breath away, not only how beautiful she was but how incredibly smart she was at only 1 year old. Peyton and I would facetime every single night and one night he showed me her. He asked Paris, "Can you say Rylie?" When she responded, she said "Rye-ee" and my heart melted. I knew in that moment, I could handle the role of being a bonus parent. September 22, 2025, The Kennedys left for a family vacation to Disney World. I had no idea it would become a trip I would never forget. On September 23, 2025, we planned to do "family pictures" or as I thought. After dinner, we headed over to Epcot where the "family pictures" were going to take place. In France, Epcot, they had a miniature version of the Eiffel Tower, and we wanted to take them there. After Peyton asked a random guy to take our family picture...that Peyton did not smile in... Mrs. Stacey asked "do y'all want to go first?", so okay sure. Little did I know. I stand next to Peyton for the picture...or should I say the video, and next thing you know he is on one knee asking to marry him. YES, A MILLION TIMES! YES, I WILL! Looking back at the very first day when he sent me that random snapchat, I will forever be grateful for him doing that. Here we are now! #OfficallyKennedy
