On the very first day at Viewmont High School, Rylee was in Biology class when Peyton walked in late and immediately caught her attention. She was too nervous to talk to him because he was so cute, though something about him stayed with her. The next year in another class, Rylee made the first move and asked for Peyton’s number (wuss). They started talking in class and shared interest in Lake Powell and their favorite Christmas movie, "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation". With this, they grew closer and soon became best friends. Every conversation became easy, and naturally, he asked her on their first date. Their first date was a romantic walk around Temple Square’s Christmas lights, holding hands and drinking hot chocolate. Their perfect night ended watching their favorite Christmas movie, Christmas Vacation. The first of many nights just like it.
