Guests should plan to arrive between 5:15-5:40pm. There is a parking garage for the venue so expect it to take a few minutes to park and walk to the venue.
Children are more than welcome to attend both the ceremony and reception. The couple is very excited to have such a fun and interactive venue to keep both the adult and children guests entertained through the evening. However, it is very important to the couple that all of their guests are given the opportunity to relax and enjoy themselves. This means that we do not want any guests having to monitor or entertain children that are not their own personal offspring. Parents deserve the chance to relax and enjoy the night too, so please keep that in mind. We do expect 9pm to be about the time where young ones leave and the reception gets a bit less kid friendly, so keep that in mind as well. If you wish to bring your little one, RSVP accordingly so Peyton and Mykah know how many kids to account for. Also if your kid knocks over the cake, you owe us a million dollars.
The venue for both the ceremony and reception will be the Texas Science and Natural History Museum. They will both be held indoors.
Where is your registry? You can find our gift registry on the "Registry" tab on our wedding website. Can I buy you something not included in the registry? We own too much stuff. We are making a conscious effort not to request unnecessary items that would inevitably add to our household clutter. We have chosen to focus on practical items that will improve our household. However, if you are passionate about a gift that you'd really love to gift us, we would be honored to accept it. I found a similar item from another store for cheaper, could I buy it from there instead? The items and brands featured in our registry are very specific. If you can find the exact same item from a reputable store, then absolutely, you can buy it elsewhere. Just let us know so we can take it off our website. If it is a different item, then we would request that you refrain from substituting them. Why is it all pet stuff? While we don't typically buy frivolous things for ourselves, we love to splurge on our animals. Our lives revolve around our pets. Being able to upgrade their gear and equipment would be like the best Christmas ever. Genuinely, would you prefer for me to buy the items, donate to your cash fund, or send money to you directly? Whichever is best for you! Everything in our registry is something we would be genuinely ecstatic to receive, so please don't feel like buying an item is the boring option. That being said, Peyton is a master at finding every deal possible, so sending funds directly to us allows us to get the most bang for your buck. What is the best way to send money directly to you? If you have Zelle, you can send a payment to Peyton Watts at (512)994-9397. Venmo @pcwattstx is another great option. We will also have a cash box at the reception for those who would prefer to gift us in cash. When should I buy the gift? Getting gifts early means we can get a jump-start on building our life together. Feel free to buy the gifts whenever is most convenient for you!
The loose theme is out-dress the bride. Feel free to message Mykah or Peyton if you wish to run an outfit by us. Here are general guidelines: No white dresses allowed. The couple's wish is for everyone to dress in what they personally feel most confident in. Something that makes you do a double-take in the mirror because you look so good. This does not mean that the women have to wear dresses! Only one of the brides will be wearing a dress, so please don't feel any pressure to conform to any specific style of attire. We just ask that you don't wear anything overly-casual. Any boyfriends that show up in a t-shirt and jeans will be shamed and exiled. The only limits to how low-cut your top can be, or how short your dress can be is that your bits should probably remain secured in the outfit for the duration of the festivities. But hey, we won't shame a nip slip here.
