FAQs

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We love your little ones, we really do!! However, in order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an event strictly for those 18 and older. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day with us and will enjoy having the evening off!!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would absolutely love to see everyone dress up with us! The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Please refrain from wearing the bridal party colors which are Dark Emerald Green and Sage Green. Ladies please refrain from wearing white or ivory.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having a completely unplugged ceremony. We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment presently with us and leave all cell phones or cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing team of photographers to capture every moment of our ceremony and we promise to share these photos and videos with you afterwards! However, during the RECEPTION please take plenty of photos and share them with us afterwards!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The drinks are on us, the hangover is on you! We will be having an open bar at our wedding and we encourage you to try our signature cocktails! Toby even has his own cocktail! There will be non-alcoholic drink choices as well, so grab whatever you like and meet us on the dance floor!

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport to our venue is Tampa International Airport (TPA) and February is usually a low tourist time in Florida, meaning flights are more reasonably priced. You can also fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO). Flights into and out of Orlando are typically cheaper than Tampa, but Orlando is much farther from our venue.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

While we did not book a block of rooms for our wedding, we recommend staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa Riverview Brandon. The address is 10240 Causeway Blvd. Tampa, Florida 33619. Please see the travel tab for more information and a link to their website. This hotel does offer great rates this time of year, but there are plenty of great places to stay nearby. We recommend staying in the Brandon/Riverview area since it is the closest in proximity to our venue!

Question

Who should I call or text the day of if I have questions?

Answer

Please do NOT call or text the bride and the groom on the wedding day. Should you need any help locating the venue or have any questions, please contact The Matron of Honor Samantha Fagan at 412-901-2921. Should you be unable to reach Samantha, please contact Bridesmaid Jennifer Rolls at 727-408-0153.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered anywhere. We have been living together for quite some time now and we have everything we need. However in lieu of gifts, we are asking for contributions to our savings account to help us purchase our first home together and help fund our honeymoon! Our honeymoon fund is listed under our registry tab!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is a "Micro-wedding" and in order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invitation will be specific as to whether or not you are allowed to bring a plus 1. Our wedding is specified with our venue as a micro-wedding, and we are strictly limited to our guest count We appreciate your understanding about this!

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception is indoors! Ladies, please wear shoes you can comfortably walk on the grass in! Wedges or heels with protective covers would be best! There is a small outdoor area with games, seats, and a firepit that you are welcome to enjoy as well!

Question

What should i do if i can't make it?

Answer

We will miss you so much, but we understand! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly. If you RSVP'd yes, and now you cannot make it please let us know as soon as possible so we can update the head count for our vendors accordingly.
